Canine Update
Well folks, I think I've decided to make the "responsible" decision and postpone becoming a dog owner. My instinct is telling me that it's just not the right time. This is mainly due to my current transient state and fluctuating financial situation. My heart is broken, but, in time, I'll recover.

oh, and dude, it's such a pain to jump channels from martha to tyra!
You're tellin' me! I love Martha and all, but from the looks of the first episodes, Top Model just might produce a little more excitement. (And plus, the Apprentice concept is old news. They could have been more creative.)
dvr is the answer.
Yes, dvr would be very helpful, but my current budget only allows for rabbit ears. :(
